Classic opening for computer programming books.
In some conversations with friends, families and others, it appears sustainability is not that familiar or critical to many of them.
So I think I start this blog to desribe part of my work as a sustainability / ESD (environmentally sustainable development) worker (Green collar worker).
Is energy efficiency only about saving money?
Why I annoy people to switch off the lights, turn off the A/C, leave the blinds down, etc .....?
I'll talk about the PHILOSOPHY behind (I'd try it in plain English but there's no guarantee.)
I already have some work ready from previous effort.

Good work Ray! People need educations to realize what enviormental issues we'r facing. It always scare me when I think about what the future would be when we continue to consume the world the way we are!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm sturggling to do my part for the enviorment as well. eg, since cattles produce most of the methane for the earth, sholud we encourage people to become vegetarian? I hate food company producing more & more food with unnessary packaging, so call "individual packed for freshness" people don't even realize it is an issue. what's your though?

I believe we can't have control over other people. But we need to do our part.
And simply doing our part is not easy.
And I think this blog is to let other people what should we do in our part.
And I said it somewhere else, I say it here again -
Greening is not just a technology thing.
It's PHILOSOPHY!
